The publication was presented during an event which led the President of the highest electoral court, Roberto Rosario Márquez, who highlighted the importance of it for the cultural and academic contributions to society. Rosario said that in the field of publication and academic contribution to society, the JCE had about 10 lost years, because he did not do any kind of work in that regard. The publication presented yesterday has among its contents "presidentialism, quality of democracy in Latin America" and "Legal regulation of political parties in Latin America".
Themes are developed by leading experts as Direter Nohlen, Emeritus Professor of the University of u000aHeidelberg Germany; Daniel Zovatto, executive director of International IDEA for Latin America, and Rosario Espinal, Professor of sociology and politics at Temple University in Philadelphia, among others. Rosario explained that the PVE not necessarily rejects or accepts the analysis made by these professionals in the magazine's content, but that as an academic and theoretical organ of dissemination, it is respectful of the points of views of the authors.
