Clinton and Penn are asking for more help

The former US President Bill Clinton, Al actor Sean Penn and Al Spanish chef José Andrés yesterday encouraged the international community to invest in Haiti, during a forum on the subject in Puerto Principe.

Nearly a thousand international investors participated between yesterday and today in the Forum organized by the Clinton Foundation and the Inter-American Bank of development (IDB), which seeks to attract foreign investment to the Caribbean country struggling to recover from the devastating earthquake in 2010.

"Haiti has challenges and opportunities." "We are a Government that wants to work with the private sector to rebuild Haiti and create jobs," said in opening remarks the Haitian President, Michel Martelly.
