Countries met in Miami to try DR-Cafta

Viewed 17 times.The Governments of Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and United States, with support from the Inter-American Bank of development (IDB) and the cooperation of the Association of American Chambers of Commerce in Latin America (Aaccla), held on 23 and 24 January a meeting which will promote dialogue between the public and private on facilitation of trade.
The direction of foreign trade (Dicoex) of the Ministry of industry and trade, reported that the meeting will be held at the hotel Biltmore, Miami, Florida, and will serve as a platform to receive contributions and views on the nature and impact of the existing obstacles in each country in the region DR-Cafta and exchange views on how to tackle them.
Explains that trade facilitation is vital to take full advantage of access to markets, the liberalization of trade and economic development opportunities u000athey offer international trade agreements.
