Court orders freedom of an accused of falsifying records
posted on: Dec 20 2011 7:32 by RDugey. Viewed 46 times.The judges of the first room criminal of the Court of appeal of the National District yesterday ordered the freedom of a man accused of leading a network of counterfeiters of records of civil status.
The Court imposed to Felipe Javier Omar Achécar for release, the payment of a financial guarantee of one million pesos, under contract with an insurance company, regular reporting and impediment of departure.
According to the file, the network was composed of employees and former employees of the Central Electoral Board (JCE), who allegedly helped protect drug trafficking and organized crime operations. The decision was taken by Katia Miguelina Jimenez and Manuel Hernández victory, judges to accept an appeal submitted by the accused, through his lawyer, Juan Emilio Bidó, with the dissenting vote of the presiding Julio César Canó Alfau, who understood that they did not change the u000abudgets and that the prison should confirm preventive.
The judge of the permanent attention of the National District, José Alejandro Vargas, had issued preventive detention against the accused, after hosting a Deputy Prosecutor Augustine of the cross application.
According to the prosecution, Achécar was based on a group of employees of the JCE for impersonation acts and issuance of certificates.
