Court sends to prison four alleged assassins who held them arsenal

The alternate judge of the Court of permanent attention of the Santo Domingo province yesterday issued custody against four men accused of integrating a dangerous network of assassins at the service of drug trafficking and organized crime.

Judge Mariza García Gómez sent La Victoria penitentiary to Tony Pérez Cruz (Tony Montana), José Arizzmendy García Rosa, Bartolo Brito Sánchez and Hugo Manuel Camilo Hidalgo, for a period of three months, who allegedly was dealt three rifles, three pistols and hundreds of ammunition, as well as uniforms with insignia of the National Directorate for Drug Control (DNCD).

The Court decided, after hosting a request for measures of coercion, consisting in pre-trial detention by the Deputy Prosecutor Winston Gutiérrez, on charges of violation of the law 36, bearing and possession of firearm and conspiracy. At the exit of the Court, the Group denied the u000aaccusation that is made.

On the case, the Prosecutor of the province, perfect Acosta, said that the only prosecution requested custody against the group, by law 36 and as for the accusation of hired killers and organised crime is in research.

"Still further with them, but meanwhile only asked custody, for violation of the law 36, because there the other information which are processed to establish links to then talk the other indictment," he said perfect Acosta, at press conference in his Office in the Palace of Justice of the Charles de Gaulle, in the municipality Santo Domingo this.

The Group was also said to be hired by a supposed Puerto Rican drug dealer to assassinate three Dominicans, including Winstón Rizik Rodriguez (the rush).
