Credit BID of $200 MM is not for the CDEEE

Viewed 25 times.The Dominican Corporation of State electric companies (CDEEE) clarified that it is not the recipient of a $200 million loan approved in the country by the Inter-American Bank of development (IDB), which, in turn, was ratified by the Senate, and reported that the disbursement is directed to the Ministry of finance for budgetary support.
The institution explained, however, that the approval of the loan by IDB directory was subject to the fulfilment of conditionalities in the sector, especially in the business and the CDEEE distributors of electricity, administrative, managerial, operational and financial performance-related.
The CDEEE, Celso Marranzini, Executive Vice President said that the decision of the Agency's credit is not the first time that it occurs, because both 2009 and 2010 the IDB had authorized loans for US$ 500 million.
