Culture is unknown on anomalies in teatro Cibao

El Gran Teatro del Cibao again become Centre of attention and not precisely for a show. The director of the art centre, Lincoln Lopez, denounced yesterday anomalies of administrative nature and the suspension of five employees.

In relation to these alleged irregularities, the Minister of culture, José Rafael Lantigua, stated that he does not know "in all its details" on the theme "and motivations that had this official to advertising the aforementioned situation".

Según Lantigua, Lopez has not informed the authorities of the Ministry of culture, properly the alleged administrative anomalies "and has committed a regrettable slip management, to give publicity, without any consultation, the situation".

Led to the complaint, added the Minister, "an unnecessary and inappropriate scandal that affects significantly the development, image and prestige of the indicated santiaguera institution".

Its u000aposition is that "allegations of this kind should verify internally and then take measures which are appropriate under the regulations for use". Then reiterated: "López not reported, at any time, this decision himself".
