Danilo is supported by artists

The presidential candidate of the Party of the liberation Dominicana (PLD), Danilo Medina, was sworn in yesterday hundreds of representatives of the art, culture and Dominican fashion.

Among the artists who expressed their public support to Medina through "Alliance Cultural with Danilo" which presides over Pedro Vergés, they are Sonia Silvestre, Rafael Solano, Johnny Ventura, Francis Santana and his wife, Fernando Casado, Sonia Alfonso, Rhina Ramírez, Pavel Núñez, José Antonio Rodríguez, Claudio Cohén, Manuel Jimenez and Vickiana. Also the intellectual Federico Henríquez and living, artist Patricia Pereyra, the poet Alexis Gómez Rosa, journalist Maribel Contreras and presenter Yandra Fermín, among others.

Within the framework of the event the artists Elsa Núñez, male Arias, Roque Gómez, Hilario olive, Elvis Olivares, Milan serum, Vladimir Vólquez, among other artists, who were present, did a painting devoted to Danilo u000aMedina.

Promises
in his speech Danilo Medina promised the construction of a House of culture in each of the provinces, to ensure that performers do not have to go "begging" a space where do their events.

He said that his Government give priority to culture, to the point that mixed tourism with that sector.

Danilo Medina said that his interest is that tourist packages that they arrive in the country include that tourists can visit villages and neighbourhoods so they know how to live the Dominicans.
