Viewed 15 times.The Office of the first lady and the Banco de Reservas rewarded the winners of the 42 version of the Christmas national contest of painting for children 2011, during a ceremony carried out in the children's library and junior Dominican Republic.
The winners of the first, in each of the four categories called, received a computer, a trophy, a diploma and a Banreservas by RD$ 15 savings account, 000.
The second and third, in addition to trophy and diploma, were honored with savings accounts for RD$ 10,000 and RD$ 5,000, respectively.
The first Lady Margarita Cedeño de Fernández also gave 23 fellowships to study painting in the center of the Serra Nidia art, as well as mentions honorífi cas for equal number of paintings selected between the 2,023 who participated from all over the country.
In category A, for children aged 6 to 8, as the first place winner was awarded David Daimer spinal Valdez, of the u000aWorkshop of Arts soul Vásquez; in the second, Wilmer M. Mejía Rosario, College Cedeño; and thirdly, Anabel Pérez Vargas, the Plaza of the prize culture. In category B, for contestants from 9 to 11 years, they were awarded the first place, Pearl Marie Valdez Ortega, of the INDARTE; with the second, Noah Batista Alvarez, of the Evangelical Association, and the third, Arianna García Moreno.
As winners of the category C for 11 to 14 years, were recognized in the first place, Christopher Manuel Vasquez Vargas, of the Baptist educational center; the second, Renee Marie Martinez Paredes, of the Christian Baptist College; and in the third, Coral Báez Santana, of the free school of painting the settlers.
In a special category for children of employees of the Banreservas was awarded first place the child Brailyn incarnation Linares, 9 years; in the second place, Nyah Dominic Moreno Hilario, 5 years; and in the third, Yansel Miguel Díaz Santana, 10 u000ayears.
Jury
the jury that selected the winning paintings encompasses it painters Mercedes Gutiérrez, Enriquillo Rodríguez Amiama, Gabino Rosario, on behalf of the Ministry of culture; journalist Jose Rafael Sosa, John Freddy Armando, culture Manager, Banreservas; Rolando Pérez Uribe, cultural Advisor of Banreservas; and Nancy Menicucci, of the center of art Nidia Serra, Coordinator and organizer of the child pageant.
