Die five Cuban balseros in shipwreck

At least five people were killed to dump a rudimentary boat that had tried to leave Cuba, the official newspaper Granma reported yesterday.

According to a note by the Ministry of the Interior published in Granma, 18 others who were in the boat were relying by SEPSA company employees, workers in the oil sector and troops of border in the area of Palmarejo, in Santa Cruz in the North, municipality of the Western Province of Mayabeque.
