DNCD boss in Montecristi arrested

Reports are emerging from Montecristi that the local head of the Drugs Control agency (DNCD), has been arrested.

Although the charges are not yet confirmed, 1st Lieutenant Jos� Polanco Jim�nez, was apparently arrested during a raid on  the hotel Montechico de la Playa Juan de Bola�o.

There is speculation that he was arrested and taken to the capital to be investigated in relation to matters involving drugs.

Jacqueline Zapata, the prosecutor and Colonel Nin Suero participated in the raid.
