No explanation has yet been offered by their employer.

Senen Caba, CMD president, said that the situation is causing unrest and anxiety among doctors waiting for their salary.
He said that the healthcare workers are usually paid around the 25th. and he understood that the CMD is being pressed to start protest actions and thus affect the process of wage negotiations with the Government.
In another vein, the chairman of the CMD said they are preparing a case through the courts and liaising with other health unions, to require the Minister of Health to repay money deducted from healthcare employees salaries and paid to Meta Health Insurance, the company run by the Ministers sister.
Caba said that for doctors alone, the sum due was 46 million pesos.
The union leader was speaking at a press conference where he announced the integration of health care workers into Holy Week preparations by the authorities to minimize problems during the celebrations.
