Dr ratifies Convention on trafficking in minors and requests to observe elections

Viewed 22 times.The Permanent Representative of the Dominican Republic to the Organization of the American States (OAS), Roberto Saladin, deposited the instrument of accession of the country in that body to the Inter-American Convention on international traffic in minors of 18 March 1994.
Diplomat was awarded the international document during a meeting with the Secretary-General of the OAS, José Miguel Insulza, under the instructions of President Leonel Fernandez.
So informed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a press release which indicates Saladin gave also a solitude to the OAS to observe the elections in May next.
