Economy and development internal program starts

the Ministry of economic planning and development (MEPD) started the training program in formulation and evaluation of projects of public investment, which seeks to strengthen the capacity of the staff of the institutions of the Dominican public sector in the use of tools for the identification of projects and the instruments necessary for the execution of their duties in an effective manner.

The program is equivalent to a diploma of specialization in formulation and evaluation of projects certified by the Instituto Centroamericano de Administración Pública (ICAP), which is taught by teachers of high quality of this institution, under the coordination of the training centre in planning and public investment (CCPIP) and the Directorate-General of public investment (DGIP).

"The levels of institutional development in our country are very vague, and this program is intended to build institutions;" u000a"build, therefore professionals that contribute to the new challenges of society", said Miguel Hernández, director of public investment of MEPD.

The program is carried out in the Centre of training policy and Fiscal management of the Ministry of finance, launched yesterday and culminating on March 26 of the u000acurrent year.
