EDENORTE sends out duplicate bills

There has been further embarrassment for the electricity supplier EDENORTE. After the many problems with power cuts it seems some of its customers are receiving double bills for February.

In a public statement, the energy company said the double billing was received by customers in the provinces Valverde, Santiago Rodriguez, Montecristi, Dajabon and Puerto Plata.

The statement  apologized to the subscribers affected by the double billing and other invoice errors and advised them to go to their nearest EDENORTE office where the mistakes would be rectified.

 "EDENORTE apologizes for any inconvenience this error may have caused and we reiterate our commitment to a better quality of service," said the company.
