Edenorte allege that PPE illegally supplied electricity to around 93 customers in violation of the exclusive rights that Edenorte were given by the CDEEE (Dominican Corporation of State Electrical Companies).
The CDEEE is headed by Celso Marranzini (pictured).
Last week, Edenorte along with a police presence forcibly disconnect customers from PPE connections and connected them to their own.
Edenorte say that PPE violated the property rights of Edenorte with respect to its transmission line, misuse of electricity poles, transformers and other equipment.

I was one of the people disconnected I moved to this house because the power was from PPE and I was fed up of being ripped off by EdeNorte and the all the power cuts, EdeNorte promised there would be on cuts in the area! what a joke weve had lots. I will see what happens when the bill comes as EdeNorte said the bill will be less, as they charge less this is another lie I have the bills to prove it from the past

Yes we had maybe three cuts with PPE, which when i called them they explained (Edenorte don't even answer the phone) in the last month with Edenorte we have had more power cuts than in a hole year with PPE.
