The crisis of the print media seems to shake now daily in most ancient Spanish of United States, which would be laid off 17 employees and whose company owner would be in negotiations to be bought by American investors.
Layoffs, proposed by Prensa, owner of the newspaper La Prensa in New York, might be accompanied with more employees on the street in the next six months or within a year, according to its Labour Union.
The maneuver, which has already affected other newspapers in Spanish in United States, now strikes a Rotary which shall comply with 99-year history in 2012.
