Emir Qatar comes in March to the country

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Carlos Morales Troncoso, announced yesterday that the Qatar emir, Hamad bin Khalifa al - Thani, will visit the country in March of next year.

The official provided the information at the end of a working meeting in which the emir confirmed their interest in visiting Dominican Republic, where it considered that involving employers could make substantial investments in the tourism sector. During the meeting also present were Deputy Prime Minister, Abdullah bin Hamad Al - Attiyah; the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Khalid Bin Mohammed Al the Attiyah, and the Minister of energy and industry, Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Sabah.

Morales Troncoso Chancellor reported that the State of Qatar is very interested in recruiting companies Dominican area of the building for the implementation of different projects.

Also launched the opening of places of work to qualified professionals in u000athe medical areas, aeronautical engineering, and both civil of the oil industry, who wish to work in Qatar.

Currently there are several Dominicans work as pilots in the national airline Qatar Airways; engineers in the sectors of environmental and petrochemical, and physicians in the field of health, one of whom is the head of the Department of Hamad Hospital traumatology.

Qatar is also willing to make investments in exploration and exploitation of oil and natural gas, in addition to corporate initiatives that could be developed in the field of tourism, explained Chancellor Morales Troncoso.

Thus manifested it the emir during the conversation which addressed, in addition, other topics, including the support of the Dominican Republic to the Palestinian cause, position which was praised by Sheikh Qatar, and the participation of the Arab community in different dimensions of life u000aNational.

Visit Morales Troncoso headed the Dominican delegation attending the international Hopefor initiative Conference, held in Doha, Qatar since last weekend, to improve the effectiveness and coordination in the use of military and civil operations by disaster defense natural.

Released by Qatar in the United Nations, Hopefor is an initiative which were joined by Turkey and Dominican Republic. The three countries pooled efforts to build a more effective humanitarian assistance in the United Nations system, capable of meeting the challenges posed by the changing climate.
