Emám Zadé dictates Conference on use of technology

Viewed 14 times.La Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (Unphu) reported that the Economist Frederic Emám Zadé gave a conference about how new technologies can impact in a disruptive and/or positive manner in the human, social and economic development of Dominicans.
His lecture, entitled "Technological singularity, opportunities, and threats for Dominicans," sparked the interest of many students and professors of the University, as well as personalities close to the expert and related to the theme of the presentation.
Emám Zadé broached the subject from the "technological singularity" methodological perspective and the technologies of exponential growth that integrate, such as computing and systems networks, nanotechnology, artificial intelligence and robotics, Bioinformatics and biotechnology, neuroscience, interfaces, human machine, energy and ecological systems.
The paper put u000ashowed his experience as an expert in the area, because since the beginning of the 21st century is planned as one of the few Latin American experts on thinking and anticipate possible futures for their clients on their knowledge about the technological singularity.
"Such is his experience in the area who in 2009 was selected from among 1,200 competitors from 35 countries to be one of the first 18 executives in the world to study and graduate from Singularity University, an innovative new University created in Silicon Valley by NASA and Google, precisely to prepare humanity for accelerating technological change and impact"", positively the lives of billions of people during the next 10 years", said a press document.
2010 Emám Zadé was one of the most prominent participants of the first course of postgraduate studies on the singularity at Rutgers University at Camden. He is currently the Chief Economist u000aFunglode and an associate member of Astronauts4Hire.
