The Dominican society of Preventionist of occupational risks (Sodoprela) advocated the full implementation of the rules of 522 - 06, related to the occupational safety and health in undertakings operating in the country.

Through its Chairperson, Soraya Reynoso Lockward, the entity indicated that accidents at work that can be prevented with the crystallization of these standards often cause of deaths or injuries of workers in full capacity productive.

Cited as an example the tragic fire in a warehouse of the programme of essential medicines (Promese), next to the hospital Traumatológico Ney Arias Lora, who died ten employees and whose first anniversary we commemorate the next 23rd.

Said that concerned about this situation, the entity has offered to the Ministry of labour offering collaboration and technical assistance for the implementation of the important and fruitful terms of the regulation in u000aissue.

Revealed in that regard that the entity coordinates support for address hygiene and Industrial Security of the Ministry in the identification of the terms of reference for the elaboration of the agenda of security referred to in regulation 522-06.

"With this agreement will facilitate understanding for the implementation of the requirements of this regulation," added the President of Sodoprela.
