Fatal bike crash at Sosua

A fifty-two year old man was killed when his motorbike was in collision with a truck near
Sosua. The victim was named as Marcelo Quiones from los Castillo de Sosa and he died while receiving treatment for multiple injuries at
Cabarete medical center.
Quinones' bike was in collision with a Daihatsu truck, driven by Rafael Ventura, 29, from Colorada de Maimn. Ventura was unhurt in the accident which happened near the steps down to
Sosua beach
The truck driver has been detained by
Sosua Police pending possible charges.
