Fernandez and Martelly unite against cholera

President Leonel Fernandez and his Haitian counterpart Michel Joseph Martelly encabezarán in Santo Domingo on Wednesday the launch of the strategic plan to accelerate the Elimination of cholera in the island Hispaniola.

The announcement was made by the Minister of public health, Bautista Rojas Gomez, who explained that the initiative will wrap the Dominican Government through the Ministry of public health, the Haitian authorities, the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), the United Nations Fund for children (Unicef), the Centre for Control and prevention of diseases (CDC), as well as agencies of cooperation and organizations, non-governmental and international.
