Fernandez congratulated Lions of the chosen by baseball championship

President Leonel Fernandez on Tuesday congratulated the team Leones of the chosen by winning the Championship of baseball otoño-invernal year 2011-2012, which concluded yesterday in the Quisqueya Stadium in the National District.

In a letter addressed to Mr Luis Manuel Bonetti, President of the Lions of the chosen, the representative pointed out that "on behalf of the Dominican people and on my own, I am pleased to extend my most effusive congratulations for the triumph of team Lions of the chosen, on the occasion of winning the tournament of baseball otoño-invernal 2011-2012 Dominican baseball champions crowned".

In his letter, Fernandez added that "I am confident that the Escogido Lions represent with equal gallantry Creole supporters in the next round of the Caribbean, which starts on Thursday in the Dominican Republic".
