Fernandez launches today the education week

President Leonel Fernandez starts today in the Global Foundation for democracy and development (Funglode) "week of the higher education", to discuss the changes and trends of education throughout the world.

The meetings that are organized in line with the delivery that will be the Dominican State to the Republic of Haiti on campus Henry Cristophe State University of Haiti (UEH) in Cap-Haïtien, start at 7: 30 today with the panel on "The education higher in Haiti".

Debates continue tomorrow Wednesday, also at 7: 30 in the evening, with a panel on "ranking of universities in Latin America", and a great panel discussion on "Measurement of quality school and the PISA tests" has been organized for Friday the 13th, at 4: 00 p.m.,.

Marco Herrera, executive director of Funglode, highlighted the select group of personalities and international experts in the field of education u000asuperior that they bring their knowledge and share lessons, examples of best practices and lessons learned in their various fields of work. The panel on "The education higher in Haiti" will involve Jean Marie Theodat, Professor and Professor at the Université Paris I, Sorbonne; Jacky Lumarke, rector of the University of Quisqueya of Haiti and President of the Conference of rectors and Presidents of universities of Haiti (Corpuca), and Yves Voltaire, rector of the public University of the South in les Cayes.
