Fernandez travels to Cuba

Fernandez will be met by his counterpart, Ral Castro and will be delivering a lecture at the University of Havana on the global financial crisis. and to discuss other matters with the Cuban leader.
According to reports, he will also discuss with Ral Castro the subject of the elimination of diplomatic visas but a meeting is not planned with Fidel Castro. Fernandez will return at noon on Friday.
Prior to the departure of the Head of State, Foreign Minister Carlos Morales Troncoso denied that the purpose of the visit of Fernandez is to mediate the conflict between Cuba and the United States.
