Flood victims get new homes

The floods over a month ago on February 14th in Puerto Plata left one  man dead and caused extensive damage, including the loss of many people�s houses. For seven families this weekend, that loss was made good as they were handed over their newly rebuilt homes.

Provincial Governor Eridania Llibre Jim�nez arranged for the work to be done under the President�s Social Plan.  She attended the ceremonies on Saturday in Los Dom�nguez and Los Limones accompanied by F�lix Castillo, Rafael �lvarez and  Jos� (Yuyo) Mirabel.

The houses were repaired in wood and zinc, through the National Institute of Housing headed by architect Alma Fernandez
