Viewed 30 times.France yesterday threatened new sanctions "of unprecedented breadth" Iran, after expressing his satisfaction by the international agency of Atomic Energy (IAEA) resolution against the regime in Tehran by the growing suspicion that it is developing nuclear weapons.
"The adoption of the resolution, the eleventh since 2003, demonstrates once again the unity and determination of the international community on the Iranian nuclear issue," said the French Foreign Minister, Alain Juppé, in a communiqué.
The text, adopted yesterday in Vienna by 32 of the 35 countries members of the Board of Governors of the IAEA, expresses "deep and growing concern" for the possible dimensions of military Iran nuclear program, although it does not include a complaint with the Security Council of United Nations, where the Iranian case is already treated since 2006.
For France, it's "a message very strong on the Iranian authorities" u000aTehran should "understand instantly."
"If Iran refuses to comply with its international obligations, remembered today again and very clearly, take, with all our partners, sanctions of unprecedented scope".
