Fundéu BBVA: "most of the money", not "most of the money"

The foundation of the Spanish urgent (Fundéu BBVA) said that the term "majority", when it means "most of a set of people or things", is used with nouns in the plural ("the majority of the trains") or with collective names ("the majority of the people in the population of the chorus...").

In the rest of the cases used in its place "most", as indicated by the "dictionary Pan-Hispanic doubt": "most of the money", "most of the day"...

Therefore indicates the Fundéu BBVA, which works advised by the Royal Spanish Academy, would have been more appropriate to that phrases such as "citizens of cabins delivered most of the money their fair share" or "the detainee spent most of the day seated at a table", had written: "the citizens of cabins delivered most of the money their fair share" or "the detainee spent most of the day seated at a table".
