Genao said Jones is consensus candidate for Municipal League

The reformist Social Christian Party (PRSC) thanked President Leonel Fernández, Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) and the mayors of other political organisations, the support given to the candidacy of Johnny Jones to the General Secretariat of the Dominican Municipal League (LMD).

The Secretary general of the PRSC, Ramon Rogelio Genao, noted that the support given by the President of the Republic, mayors of the three major parties and four party emerging with municipal representation, makes the choice of the PRSC in a bid for consensus, and ensures the same triumph on 26 January.
