German drowns at Sosua

A 71 year old German man was drowned at Sosua beach yesterday.
Herbert Kalcher Uter was enjoying a swim at the popular tourist beach when he was pulled under by a big wave. He hit underwater rocks and suffered blows to the head, according to the National Police.
Uter had been staying at Casa Valerio hotel in the town.
