Governor of Haiti visit to BC

The Governor of the Central Bank, Héctor Valdez Albizu, met with authorities of the Central Bank of Haiti, headed by Governor Charles Castel, members of the Monetary Board of that country and the Minister of business affairs.
According to a note from the Central Bank the aim of the meeting was to discuss issues related to cooperation in the field of monetary, exchange rate and financial policy with emphasis on the opening and operation of entities of financial intermediation, functioning of the system of payments and other aspects that contribute to strengthening the commercial exchange between the two Nations. They joined Valdez Albizu Vice-Governor Clarissa Torres Rocha, Manager Pedro Silverio, sub-Manager general Ervin Novas and the Deputy Manager of operations Frank Montaño.
