Graduate doctors and dental technicians

La Universidad Odontológica Dominicana (UOD) yesterday conducted its LXVI ordinary graduation ceremony, in which obtained their titles of doctors of dentistry 38 students, while four graduating from dental technicians and 17 others in a diploma in surgery in implants dental.

The Act of delivery of titles was chaired by the Rector of the UOD, Dr. Vilma Deschamps; academic Vice-Rector Dr. Francisca Rivas, Vice-Rector for development, planning and research

Also, the engineer Jeanette Chaljub; María Elena O'Rourke, administrative Vice-Chancellor; Ponciano Rondón, President of the Patronato Pro Universidad Odontológica Dominican and the directors of the different areas.

La Dr. Deschamps highlighted the contribution that as professionals will give these new dentists society Dominican.

Said that with these doctors the UOD has graduated so far more than 1,200 dentists, which are scattered by u000athroughout the country "and the world as that of Spain and other Nations immigrated students who believed in the UOD as enclosure to study dentistry".

He said that since a few months ago the UOD develops a process of transformation, innovation in its laboratories and modernization of all their areas.

In this way, he added, continue contributing to the community, capable and competitive professionals and above all human.

This Academy was founded on October 30, 1983, and since then, its mission is to "contribute to the social development of the country, training and training human resources, to give answers to the needs generated by society".
