Danny Granger got Wednesday 24 points to end a drought of success in the victory of the Indiana Pacers over the Atlanta Hawks for 96-84

Roy Hibbert added 12 points and 11 rebounds, while David West and Lance Stephenson also got 12 points each to help the Pacers to climb his mark to 7-3. It is only the second victory of Indiana on the Hawks in their last 11 meetings.

Josh Smith led Atlanta with 16 points; Joe Johnson got 15; Zaza Pachulia, 11; and Willie Green, 10. The Dominican Al Horford contributed five points and two rebounds in 5: 52 minutes of play. The Hawks fell to 7-4

Granger scored 9 of 16 shooting from the field, including three of five attempts to triple.

Granger and Hibbert were combined so that the Pacers, with the score 53-50 at halftime, hilaran a barrage of 16-2 in the third quarter to extend the lead to 71-54 with 5:07 minutes remaining in the period.

Indiana reached u000aan advantage of 24 points in the middle of the last quarter.

Lucas, owner for the first time in his career of 70 games in the NBA, came instead of Rose, who was out for a sprain in the thumb of the left foot. Lucas played 45 minutes, had eight assists, eight rebounds and scored 11 of 28 shots.

Kyle Korver added 14 points, seven of them in the last quarter, and Loul Deng had 12 points and down 15 rebounds.

Carmelo Anthony scored 27 points and won nine rebounds, and the New York Knicks cut the string of six wins in a row of the Philadelphia 76ers to win them the u000a85-79 Wednesday.

Amare Stoudemire added 20 units and 10 rebounds, while freshman Josh Harrellson contributed as replacement with 13 points.

Andre Iguodala and Evan Turner scored each 16 units for the 76ers, who were back almost the entire game in his unsuccessful attempt to become only the second team to win three games in three nights during this campaign.
