Health provides for the creation of emergency committees

All Directors of hospitals in the country have been instructed to the creation of committees of emergencies and disasters, working to prepare their administrative staff and health to give effective response to the occurrence of any kind of disaster.

Juan Manuel Rodríguez Espinal, director general of emergency and public health disaster, gave details of the "Safe hospitals" programme adopted in the country and ordered the creation of such committees since 2005.
