Higher administrative Court rejects request suspension primary care centres

The Presidency of the higher administrative court rejected measure precautionary filed by the Dominican Medical Association (CMD) and the Dominican Association of clinics and private hospitals (ANDECLIP), to suspend the decisions handed down by the National Council of Social Security (CNSS) on the implementation of primary care the 1st of may 2012.

The Court described as irrelevant, poorly founded and lacking in legal basis the request filed by CMD and ANDECLIP, recognizing that the CNSS issued these resolutions in pursuance of the powers and functions conferred Act 87-01 and its complementary rules as well as to the decision of the CNSS does not represent a violation of rights or damage irreparable for the applicants.

Although the judgment number 053 - 2011 was issued Tuesday 6, was released today by the CNSS.

It specified that such a Commission is headed by the representative to the CNSS of the Ministry of public health and representatives from employer and labour, as well as the CMD and the representative of the disabled, unemployed and destitute.

Said that the implementation of primary care will contribute to reduce the expenditure of members of the Dominican system pocket of u000aSocial Security (SDSS).
