The executive director of the National Institute of water resources (INDRHI), engineer Frank Rodriguez, reported that occasion be held on 17 November the national day of watering boards, the Agency signed an agreement with the Ministry of education (MINERD) to work jointly on the eradication of illiteracy among the members of organizations of users of irrigation and their families.
The Convention was signed by the Minister of education, graduate Josefina Pimentel, and the owner of the INDRHI, engineer Frank Rodriguez, at the headquarters of the water unit officer.
The engineer RODRIGUEZ said that the initiative is part of the work done by the agency that directs so that users of irrigation are inserted in a competitive way in the national production apparatus and that those contributions would lead to a better quality of life for them and their families.
Indicated that there were 29 boards in the country and u000a10 irrigators associations and that in recognition of the contribution made, President Leonel Fernandez declared the day by Decree.
