Iberia pilots call strike for 18 days to December 29

The Spanish airline Iberia pilots have decided to call strike on 18 and 29 December in protest at the creation of New Iberia Express, low-cost airline dedicated to cover short journeys and half radio.
The President of the Trade Union of pilots of Iberia (Sepla-Iberia), Justo Peral, today announced at press conference that this measure is taken after having exhausted the negotiations with the leadership of the company.
Pilots go on strike alone, after having refused to endorse his call the collective of cabin crew employees of the airline, which showed his position contrary to this action in an Assembly celebrated the last 5 of December.
