The Procurator of Justice of Jalisco, Tomás Coronado, reported in press conference that of the 14 persons identified, only two have criminal record and continue the investigations to know who were the other 12 victims.
He added that 12 bodies still unidentified, are four that after matching fingerprints with their databases they found some antecedent criminal, although he did not give more details.
The bodies of 26 men were found early Thursday in three vehicles abandoned in Guadalajara, about 500 kilometres northwest of the city of Mexico, a fact which points to an attack by the cartel's Los Zetas.
Number of the u000abodies were written with oil in the body the words "Millennium" and "Zetas", that had a message in which the Zetas were attributed the facts.
Coronado said that the victims were killed by strangulation or by blows to the skull.
The Attorney said before in MVS Radio that although the message signed by Los Zetas is a hint, research must still fully corroborate if that group was responsible for the crime, one of the worst has been shaken in recent years to Guadalajara.
Coronado revealed that they have found evidence that Los Zetas made an alliance with a local group known as the resistance, in the midst of the struggle that contend with rivals.
Federal authorities have pointed out that the resistance was formed by alleged members of other groups such as the posters of the family and the Gulf, in addition to a local group known as Millennium.
The Procurator of Jalisco did not mention with which group maintain their u000aclash Los Zetas in Guadalajara, although some analysts have pointed out that the battle is with the Sinaloa cartel
The message left by the bodies referred to the Sinaloa cartel and alleged protection they receive from authorities state.
El Cartel de Sinaloa and Los Zetas are considered the two major groups of drug trafficking in Mexico.
26 Corpses were abandoned in Guadalajara a day before in Northern Sinaloa State were killed 24 people, 17 of which were burnt in two vehicles.
Coronado said that had entered into contact with the authorities of Sinaloa to determine if the deaths are related, because in principle "they have a similar operandi modus".
Another similar massacre occurred on September 20, in the State of Veracruz, on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico, when armed men stopped 35 corpses in full light of day on a major Avenue u000acommercial.
Several of the bodies had marked the letter "Z", in an apparent reference to the alleged identity of the victims. Authorities have identified as possible responsible members of the Cartel's Jalisco next generation, a group allegedly associated with the Sinaloa Cartel.
Raúl Benítez, security of the Autonomous National University of Mexico (UNAM) expert, told Eve AP Guadalajara murders seem to of Los Zetas retaliation by the crimes of Veracruz. Authorities, however, have not any connection.
Guadalajara was long the home of a faction of the Sinaloa Cartel led by Ignacio "Nacho" Coronel, killed by federal authorities in July 2010.
Since his death, factions of the Group of Colonel struggle to control the operations of drug trafficking, including the so-called poster Jalisco new generation.
