Of more than 25 thousand detainees during 2011 sentences 632 are women, according to the statistics of the DNCD, while it reveals that they were received from the United States about 1,185 repatriated after serving sentences by Affairs u000arelated to drugs, while 18 foreigners were expelled from the country and 15 Dominicans were extradited to the United States to answer charges for various crimes.
