Inabima will start to pay the retirement plan for teachers

The announcement was made by the Executive Director of the Inabima, Maritza Pérez Rossi, who said that the supplementary retirement scheme represents one of the most important teaching achievements national.
The amount to be paid to each teacher is the average of the salaries received in the past 20 years multiplied by 25 if the educator retired with 30 years or more in service, by 20 if he retired with 25 years of practice and 15 if he did it with 20 years of work.
The amount payable is in addition to the salary that the master receives from for life
"It's an amount extra teaching retiree will receive to improve their quality of life," said Pérez Rossi.
According to the number 176 of Law 451 - 08 article, the u000aInabima "is responsible for creating a Recapitalizable supplementary retirement Plan, for the purposes of which the teachers at the time of being retired (as) will receive an amount equal to the twentieth part of the sum of wages during the past 20 years of lock jo". The resources of the retirement scheme will come from the contribution of the 1.5 per cent of the wages of the master while it is active and 2 per cent of the employer, in this case is the Ministry of education.
"This Fund is capitalizing on, we have invested to high rates of interest on financial certificates," said the Executive Director of the Inabima.
Retirement plan was a policy very claimed by the educational community national, mainly by the Association Dominican teachers (ADP), and was achieved on 15 October 2008 with the enactment of the aforementioned Act.
