Industrialists are opposed to the signing of new FTAS

The Association of industries of Dominican Republic (AIRD) objected to signing new treaties of free trade (agreements FTAS) without that internal conditions to make competitive to the national production apparatus change significantly and considered relevant to ignore evaluations made on the results of agreements existing.

"At the prospect of new free trade agreements with Nations such as Mexico and Canada, for example, the AIRD feels alarmed.

We have seen what happened with the FTA with United States and Central America and do not understand yet as sectors linked to the political world or the Government claimed that we signed new agreements without significant variations in the internal conditions of the country that make our industries uncompetitive in international markets lines", said Bonetti's brave, in a press release.

Valiente Bonetti participate today in the presentation of the camera u000aCosta Rica Dominican in San Jose, Costa Rica, said that with these proposals is pushed the country towards deindustrialisation.
