INFOTEP comes with new training strategies

For the year 2012, the National Institute of vocational training (Infotep) arises operational goals with respect to services provided. Its aims are to achieve 1,761,084 hours of instruction, with 21,565 training actions that will make it possible to meet 387,840 participants. These indicators reflect a percentage increase of 9.6% in hours instruction, 4.6% in training actions and a 4.6 per cent in participants with regard to schedule in 2011.

To achieve its purposes have developed attractive strategies with the aim, thus further improve its services.

For the great work that the institution plays some countries have decided to contribute to its improvement.

Among the strategies are: modernization of 5 workshops of the central general management, funded by the Government of Taiwan, which amounts to $3 million, the construction and equipment of hotel training centres, pastry u000aand gastronomy in Santo Domingo and Higu¨ey.

In addition, the construction of a modern Centre training technical professional to industry, by the Brazilian institution SENAI, with an investment of the Brazilian Agency of Cooperación-ABC-of US$ 2,199,780.56 over a period of 24 months from the first quarter of this year.

El Infotep is confident that with these strategies can overcome the achievements of the past year that were notable and award-winning because of his great work.

During 2011, Infotep executed 1,608,372 hours of instruction, 21,207 training actions and 391,304 persons were trained.

in addition, it offered diploma in business budget, social security, service to the client as a comparative and competitive advantage, and provided facilitators of productive learning between alternatives of great importance.

With the intention of empowering teachers, 46 training activities were carried out u000atechnical and methodological, two days of training in the methodology of learning projects, with the participation of 1,290 facilitators.

Five courses of complementation to 113 active facilitators of the Infotep were also held to enable them in the development of contents that promote equity, equality, and the civility, as well as respect for the environment and natural resources.

Also, the formation of the proper use of renewable or alternative energy strategies, trained facilitators in order to specialize in the installation and maintenance of natural gas (CNG) conversion, incorporated systems for the generation of wind energy, solar power and biomass energy conversion systems.

In addition, the institution conducted several events and conferences for the purpose of guiding society the social responsibility and the labour competitiveness u000aamong which is the presentation of the manual: "standardization, curriculum design, training, evaluation and certification of competencies labour.

Infotep experiences". During 2011 experienced modernizations in the ethnological and physical infrastructure with the construction of the administrative building of the Central Regional management, acquisition of two power plants, tables, armchairs and chairs for regional managements, services of air ambulance, among others.

who already use the services of the Infotep are businessmen, participants or facilitators were quite satisfied with the services and the work provided by the entity, according to studies carried out by the company The Project Boss Office 2011; giving a result that entrepreneurs in a 90.1%, the participants of the technology centers in an 83.4% and the participants of the operating system (COS) in a 87.78 centres % consider that the u000aservice offered full expectations and it was excellent.

Due to the great work carried out during 2011 Infotep received major awards at the international level which were: "European Awards Best Practices 2011" for their achievements and excellence of the quality, awarded by the European society for the research

Also the Infotep received the award for excellence and prestige, in the diamond category, awarded by Business Initiative Direcctions (IDB). Bizz Award for excellence, awarded by the Confederation world of business.
