InterEnergy and BW Gas will invest US$ 350 MM

This will be the first investment of BW in the Caribbean, company that claims to believe strongly in the future of the Dominican energy market and the opportunity to partner with InterEnergy to bring a more economic and efficient solution fuels for electricity generators and other consumers of natural gas in this country.
Executive Vice President of the Dominican Corporation of companies electrical State (CDEEE), Celso Marranzini, stated that this u000aannouncement is one of the most important events in the local energy market in the last decade.
Marranzini also pointed out that this project confirms the significant and continuous interest of large international groups such as BW and InterEnergy in investing in the country and more specifically in its sector energy.
In the report, companies explained that this corporate combination has proved to be essential to ensure multiple suppliers long-term gas contracts and the most competitive prices in the market for the gas.
The main Executive of the BW group, Andreas Sohmen-Pao, expressed that BW is very excited about this partnership with InterEnergy Holdings and its leading companies in the energy sector to take a convincing solution to a market growing so important as Dominican Republic.
