Interior and police joined the day against abuse

Viewed 33 times.The Ministry of Interior and police (IPM) said yesterday that it participates actively in the international campaign "Unite to end violence against women", promoted worldwide by the Secretary-General of the Organization of the United Nations, Ban Ki-Moon.
Such a campaign is coordinated by the Ministry of women, in his capacity of leading instance of public policies in favour of equality and gender equity, which are invited to participate to all offices of equity of gender in the State.
The Minister of Interior and police, José Ramón Fadul, in his role as protector of public safety, urged the population to join this educational seminar, which seeks to raise awareness that domestic violence against women can be avoided, denouncing the physical, verbal or moral abuse.
Also, the police Chief, major general Joseph a. Polanco Gómez, announced the strengthening of actions to u000arun this institution in order to provide greater support and protection to women victims of any abuse.
Said "many times a woman regardless of age, race, social or economic status is submitted to any provision of the police to report that it has been the subject of aggression, abuse or threat that endangers the life or integrity, agents must receive the complaint, provide adequate protection and process raised record, without delay",.
