Interior and police will not allow illegal fireworks

The Ministry of Interior and police expanded the offensive against the manufacture and illegal marketing of fireworks this holiday season, making operating in places where usually violate the provisions that prohibit this type of activity.

The Minister of Interior and police, José Ramón Fadul, warned that only businesses legally constituted and certified by the institution are empowered to handle Fireworks events public.

Detonation and sale of fireworks are totally prohibited by law 340-09 on the Control and the regulation of the pyrotechnic products, and currently only are permitted seven companies.

Fires artificial Jupiter, shrapnel artificial fires, fires artificial Phantom, Caribbean pyrotechnics, Fireworks artificial Popeye, MG of the decay and Phantastik Fireworks, are those that are currently authorized to perform shows u000awith pyrotechnic products

Fadul was categorical in stating that any person or institution that violates the rules face weight of Justice, as set out in section II of the sanctioning regime, articles 22 to 26, chapter IX of law 340-09

The same chapter States that "prohibits the production or manufacture, import, marketing, transport, sale, handling and use of all sorts of pyrotechnic articles and balloons in whose elevation used devices powered firearms without prior authorization from the Ministry of Interior and police" (section I, articles 19 to 21).

The legislation also describes systems of the business registers pyrotechnic in IPM, applications for permits for operation, rules to perform demonstrations in public, transport of the material, manufacture local goods and validity of the permits.

Interior and police u000arequested to citizens denounce the sale and use of fireworks, through the telephone line * 788 at no cost.

The Act aims to "Regulate the activities of production, marketing, transport, storage, distribution, acquisition and use of pyrotechnic articles or fireworks and manipulation thereof".

This notice is part of the information campaign on the regulations established to avoid accidents by using wasteful of fireworks, which included, since the beginning of December, spacious days of awareness in schools, with talks aimed at students and teachers.

They have also been distributing flyers on main roads and in the neighborhoods of the capital and different parts of the country.

The Minister of the Interior and police calls on families parents to guide their children on the danger that u000arepresents the use of pyrotechnic products and how can transform the joy of Christmas at times unpleasant.
