International initiatives by the ecology of the country

Ecofase Dominican and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands developed a programme of activities with the objective of promoting green homes, caring for the environment and natural resources in Dominican Republic.

Activities carried out under the auspices of the Government of the Netherlands, included the celebration of national day of environmental movements, which on this occasion consisted of the donation of zafacones on different beaches of the country, including Boca Chica, Playa Sosúa and Cabarette.

Activity was conducted in order to contribute jointly to the inhabitants of those areas, to keep their waste-free community and at the same time work with caring for the environment as a primary measure to counteract the effects of climate change, becoming the first Foundation manages to implement such programmes in these districts. Ecofase Dominican, is a foundation dedicated to u000aboost environmental ecological and care homes in Dominican Republic, for environmental care and their natural resources; focusing on its field of action on children and adolescents, who represent the next generation.

Purposes for LOS BUENOS results
the project also aims to educate people, communities, businesses and industries, civil society and Governments, on the importance of environmental care, through different activities such as reforestation in different sectors of the national district led by an expert botanist. To achieve this they have coordinated conferences and guided tours; they have made documentaries and disseminated information to reach the full education and understanding of society in the field national.

The Foundation also conducted a day of reforestation jointly to the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, to commemorate the month with environmental actions u000athe reforestation.
