Investigation into death of a musician found tied hand and foot

Members of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Northern National Police, together with the public prosecutor's Office, are investigating the death of a pianist found yesterday with his hands bound, on the beach of the Malecon in Puerto Plata. The victim is musician Domingo del Orbe Adames, of 44-year-old, who lived in Calle José Eugenio Kunhardt, number 46, in Puerto Plata, and performed in the musical group, Remedio Casero.
Del Orbe Adames' body was found in front of the Caracol Hotel with bruises and blunt force trauma to his head.
The police report indicates that the blows that caused the victim's death were caused by people not yet identified. The report indicates that the reasons for the murder are not yet known.
Police say the case continues to be investigated.
Near to the place where the corpse was discovered was found the vehicle owned by the victim, a blue Dodge, plate #323645, which is being held by the authorities as part of the investigation.
