The unusual Act of homage today Monday to one of the cruelest repressors of the last military dictatorship, Miguel Krasnoff, was described Sunday as painful and tortious by the political leader Marco Enríquez-Ominami, son of one of the dozens of victims of the retired brigadier.
The announcement of the tribute to Krasnoff unleashed a wave of repudiation of activists of human rights, of the opposition center-left and even government officials.
