"How Caribbean employers can do more business with United Kingdom if they have to send their passports to Jamaica and then wait for up two weeks to see if they gave them the visa", asked the Chancellor, a claim which was welcomed by all of its Caribbean counterparts present in seventh Forum Caribbean-United Kingdom, which concluded yesterday in Grenada.
Morales Troncoso speech introduced the theme of the EPA, with emphasis on how their opportunities to increase trade and investment within the Caribbean region and the United Kingdom Caribbean.
El Chancellor considered that "the three years of entry into force of the EPA have been successful for" u000a"Dominican Republic", which is why urged both Caribbean partners as Europeans to work to maximize their benefit cios.
In his speech, gave an optimistic view, to enumerate the favourable results of the Convention in the areas of investment and trade, citing the Dominican United Kingdom and Europe export growth in general, as well as the increase in investments in the Dominican Republic in Dominica, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago and Saint Vincent.

While the British Chancellor, William Hague, thanked the Dominican so optimistic presentation and promised to work on the pending issues, many of which would be resolved within the framework of the cooperation of the Caribbean with the European Union.
