The head of the National Directorate for Drug Control (DNCD), in the airport Las Americas, Lieutenant Colonel Johan Liriano, threatened yesterday to include in the files of drug trafficking to journalists covering the media outlet in the terminal, if still publishing data on confiscation of drugs rather than the agency disclosed them.

The official made the warning when reporters of the different media assigned to the source attended the deposit number three cargo terminal where there was another case of confiscation of drugs.

Arbitrary
"I am an arbitrary man and I can put you easily in any records of drugs if they continue with this practice," the military leader expressed in a threatening tone. The official, in an intimidating way, was presented to reporters accompanied by numerous bodyguards and other military of the specialized airport security corps (CESA), requiring them to retire u000aof the area

"Even if you are here, only Roberto LeBron has the authorization to offer any information on cases of drugs that are produced at the airport," argued official.

The attitude of the official immediately was repudiated by representatives of various public and private institutions that converge in the terminal. He criticized the intention to obstruct the work of the press in the terminal of Las Americas.

Reporters demanded the intervention of the President of the DNCD, major general Rolando pink Mateo, threatened by the head of the anti-drug agency in Las Americas.
